Canon 50MM 1.8 EF lens ,on an overcast day that created the blue cast.
Cadillac badge.... enjoyed using this basic lens. Very sharp!

Heading out of work Friday, happened to have my camera in the car and this was parked near the parking garage exit. Set up on the tripod with the 17-50mm lens and bracketed some shots for an HDR.
This is a standard -2,0,2 bracketed HDR set. Processed with Photomatix with a custom preset I've developed (kind of a light grunge, which I have several versions of), then applied a custom Lightroom preset which did a final exposure adjustment and sharpening. These particular LR Preset settings seem to work nicely across a wide range of photos for a little bit more "pop". I custom made it from another I got from the web somewhere, and I find it helps keep the noise down to go a bit more conservative in Photomatix then bring things out a bit more in LR.
Now with the new HDR processing in Photoshop CS5, I have another expensive item for the wish list.
